⁶ So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, “Lord, are You going to wash my feet?” ⁷ Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not realize now, but you will understand ^(A)afterwards.” ⁸ Peter *said to Him, “You will never wash my feet—ever!” Jesus answered him, “^(B)If I do not wash you, ^(C)you have no part with Me.”
